What’s black and white and reptile all over? Naomi Watts‘ look yesterday, in Sydney, Australia. The actress attended the Jacob’s Creek new ‘Cool Harvest’ wine launch party, held at Centennial Park restaurant. She looked ever-so-classy in a black and white, sporty Stella McCartney (look 27) dress from the Spring 2012 collection, strappy black sandals and a Stella McCartney faux python Falabella Kleine Clutch, from the Summer 2012 collection.

Made of a caramel-colored material, this eco-snakeskin Falabella Clutch features gold chain detail around the edges, a front flap with a snap closure and logo jacquard lining. And like all Stella McCartney fashions, it’s eco-friendly too!

It’s safe to say the Antigona is Givenchy‘s new ‘It’ bag of the moment, as it’s been seen on pretty much every celebrity under the sun, including Rachel Zoe, Beyonce, Rihanna, Khloe Kardashian, Kyle Richards, Zoe Saldana, Nicole Richie and Ciara. And the list goes on and on. And it’s the latest ‘it’ bag for good reason – it’s sturdy and classic which is always the draw with Givenchy bags, and the design is that perfect mix of trendy and classy. For the more conservative woman, there’s the solid leather Antigona bags, and for the more contemporary woman (like myself), there’s this new Tricolor Medium Antigona Duffel.

It’s available for pre-order now, which means it’ll come just in time for spring, though the color combo is a bit wintry. This deep purple leather duffel features contrast brown rolled leather handles with blue leather trim at the bottom of each. The detachable flat leather shoulder strap also features the blue, purple and brown leather color combo. A top zip conceals the lined interior and inside there is a single zipper pocket and two additional pockets, which is atypical, but nice, inside a duffel bag. Monica stole the spotlight dressed in a Diane von Furstenberg Vincent Lacquered Tweed Blazer with citron accents and a black turtleneck and skinny leather pants accessorized with Christian Louboutin Asteroid Spike toe pumps in black and a bright yellow handbag – the Balenciaga Giant Bag with gold hardware. The look was classy but Monica made it pop with her fun touches of yellow!

Just can’t get enough of Proenza Schouler’s PS11 clutch – now in colorblock citron

I don’t consider myself a trend-obsessed gal but I can say that I have been obsessed with neon since the 80′s! Luckily it’s back in style and right on trend, so I’m loving this Proenza Schouler PS11 clutch in colorblock citron. It’s more of a subtle neon/citron yellow paired with accents of mint green alongside a pale yellow. The boxy shape features the PS11‘s signature belted strap with inverted pyramid studs and turnlock, plus a front flap and a wristlet handle. There’s a random hanging D-ring at the bottom (not too sure of its purpose) but the bag is cute anyway. Underneath the flap are three exterior slit pockets, and inside it’s lined in logo-print jacquard with a leather trimmed inner zip pocket. This bag would look perfect with a nude colored dress or against a crisp, white spring look.

Don’t try boarding a plane with this Christian Louboutin Spiked Marquise Clutch

My husband likes to tease me, saying that my handbags and accessories often look like weapons. And he’s right. I’m often drawn to edgier styles, like knuckle rings, pointy bracelets, spike studded shoes and even more heavy studded leather bags. So Christian Louboutin’s Spiked Marquise Clutch is right up my alley. It’s a classic flap clutch, but when you turn it to the side you’ll see there’s different sized pointed spikes sticking out. It’s like a porcupine was stuffed inside a clutch – and I mean that in a great way. It’s edgy but still quite chic, despite the spikes. I could imagine carrying this bag both for day and to a black tie event. Don’t get me wrong – it’s definitely not for everyone but if you’re feeling edgy I’d recommend buying it. It’s certainly a conversation piece (one I can already imagine having with my hubby once I buy it!). Just don’t try to take it through airport security – they probably won’t be as amused by your accessories doubling as weaponry.

Givenchy is typically known for its fantastically simple yet iconic handbags, which come in solid colors. But the brand’s latest creation is a fantastically simple bag that’s also a colorful work of art! The Givenchy Birds of Paradise Tote displays Riccardo Tisci‘s bright, digitized floral prints featuring irises, pansies and birds of paradise wallpaper-like motifs, framed by a black graphic border. The prints were first seen on the runway at Givenchy’s SS’12 show in Paris last Fall, and are found on this tote, plus other styles like the Antigona Duffel and the Obsedia Minaudière. The Givenchy Birds of Paradise Tote is available for pre-order now, for $1,120 at Bergdorf Goodman.

Through her “Kindness is Always Fashionable” platform, she previously created a celebrity-signed tote to raise funds to benefit the children of Pakistan, and then the Japan Tote to help raise funds for tsunami victims. The newest item in her philanthropic handbag line is the Ghana clutch. This multicolored print burlap fabric clutch features the “Kindness is Always Fashionable” catchphrase across the front, with a silver-tone frame and hardware clasp at the top. MARNI Foulard Spring/Summer 2012 collection

If we had to choose one designer’s clothes to live in for the rest of our life, it’d be Marni. The retro colors and prints make us swoon time and time again and we’d be happy to be swathed in Marni garments and accessories forever!

Added to our ‘want’ list is practically every item in the Marni Foulard Spring/Summer 2012 collection. Marni first debuted Foulard last year. Designer Consuelo Castiglioni told Harper’s Bazaar that the small capsule collection was developed “by taking silk scarves, accessories with a very ladylike connotation, and turning them into bon-ton graphic pieces.” The Spring/Summer 2012 collection features an explosion of colors and colorblock, with abstract, geometric and tile prints, plus multicolored stripes. The collection includes nylon and silk and recycled vintage LPD vinyl accessories like coin purses and cosmetics pouches, scarves, sunglasses cases, shoppers/tote bags made of PVC with leather handles, hair bow clips and jewelry including geometric cuffs and necklaces.

Longchamp x Mary Katrantzou AND Jeremy Scott

Longchamp is best known for those ubiquitous nylon tote bags you see all the college girls carrying around campus. But it’s their handbag collaborations that really pique our interest. They’ve got not one, but two recent collaborations, with London-based designer Mary Katrantzou and the other with American designer Jeremy Scott.

The limited-edition release of Longchamp x Mary Katrantzou is a collection of tote bags called “When East Meets West.” The totes come in several silhouettes, with Katrantzou’s signature eye-popping prints like orchids and lanterns floating in the sky. You can purchase at Parisian boutique Colette starting Jan. 23.

Longchamp’s other collab with funky and tongue-in-cheek Jeremy Scott collection features the brand’s Le Pliage tote covered in a limited-edition postcard design. First there’s the side that reads “Wish you were here! Love, Jeremy” with the designer’s face on the ‘stamp’. The other side reads “Greetings from Paradise. The Land of Sunshine” It retails for $202, also at Colette.
