With a name like ‘The Knot‘, you might half expect to see some sort of bridal clutch. Something white, ivory or blue, with maybe a sparkly crystal or two. Haute off the runway: Miu Miu Bird suede and python clutch

We can always count on Miu Miu bags to be two things –stylish and simple. So we were shocked to see this uniquely hip and slightly trendy clutch tagged with a Miu Miu logo. The chic, striped Miu Miu Bird suede and python clutch is incredibly unexpected from the brand, yet irresistibly cute. It’s made of strips of pink suede with contrasting strips of black python in a fold over style with a scalloped edge flap closure. A pink and black python bird embellishment is the focal point of the bag, which opens to two interior compartments and has a tuckable braided rope shoulder strap. Is this an SJP creation? Much as we love her style, we were highly skeptical about her being named Creative Director of Halston Heritage. And if this bag is a shining example of her work with the brand, then we’re sorry to say that we were right. The Halston Heritage Sequin Folded Clutch ($195) is pretty hideous.
