“Beasts of the Southern Wild” actress Quvenzhané Wallis just became the youngest Oscar nominee for a Lead Performance – ever! Congrats to her! The cute, 9 year old girl has been acting since the age of five and her short career is already blossoming. And it looks like she’s a budding fashionista & handbagista too! Already, she’s debuted her signature style of handbag – the ‘doggy bag.’ She’s been spotted several times on the red carpet carrying different colored stuffed dog handbags, made by a company called Poochie. (At first I thought it might be the same ‘Poochie‘ brand I was obsessed with when I was little, but that was a LONG time ago).
See more after the jump.
Back in October, Quvenzhané won a New Hollywood Award at the 16th Annual Hollywood Film Awards Gala presented by The Los Angeles Times. She wore a black and pink sequin and tulle dress, accessorized by a white, black and pink doggy bag. She paired a black and silver doggy bag with a black dress at the Academy Of Motion Picture Arts And Sciences’ Fourth Annual Governor’s Awards.
Then, we spied her chic coordinated look at the HFPA and InStyle Miss Golden Globe 2013 party, when she wore a purple dress with a matching purple doggy bag. And most recently, she rocked her black doggy bag with an emerald green dress a few nights ago at the 2013 National Board Of Review Awards.
Love that this little girl’s got loads of style already! I can’t wait to see how her style evolves as she gets older.
