Today is a sad day for luxury bag lovers (cue violin music). While so many women are waiting patiently on the LONG waiting list to get a Birkin, others are busy destroying theirs. Clint Eastwood‘s daughter Francesca, known for her role on the new reality show, Mrs. Eastwood & Company (which stars his wife Dina and his two daughters), set fire to her $100,000 crocodile Birkin bag on the latest episode in a photoshoot with her celebrity photographer boyfriend, Tyler Shields. But not before she held it in her teeth and took a chainsaw to it! Sigh. Rich kids. Personally, for starters I think dropping $100K on a designer handbag is simply ridiculous. I don’t care who makes it and what it’s made of (unless it’s platinum and I can trade it for cash). But if you’ve got Clint Eastwood money, then $100K is a drop in the bucket. Still, to spend that much on a luxury item just to destroy it in the name of art is not artistic. It’s just plain stupid.
Would you spend $100K on a Birkin? Would you ever destroy one?

How dumb.
the bag was fake… HELLO.
If was really a $100k bag, then all she got out of it was a couple of moderately interesting snaps and not much else. The Hermes Birkin is really too much.
