Alexander McQueen De Manta clutch

We still mourn the loss of Alexander McQueen but his legendary fashion designs live on. This haute Alexander McQueen De Manta Clutch is McQueen at his very best. We’re loving the psychedelic pattern, vibrant mix of blue and pink colors and edgy design. Everything about this bag screams ‘Must carry’! It’s perfect for summer - to liven up your LBD (little black dress) - or even your LWD (little white dress). We love the uniqueness of it all - the butterfly-shaped silhouette with a top zip that also folds over on the edges. But the printed silk fabric is what really catches your eye. It features an electrifying image of a spiritual transformation of some sort with abstract jellyfish on either end. Other details include a platform bottom, and interior lining with a back wall zip pocket. The dimensions are 15″ x 2″ x 10″.

This is somewhat of a departure from McQueen’s usual use of skulls and other slightly morbid imagery. Ironically, this clutch represents a rebirth, and after his passing, it gives McQueen’s designs a bit of a second life.
