Every day is a photoshoot when you’re part of the Kardashian clan. Kim and Kourtney strolled down Lincoln Road in Miami Beach, Florida, while shopping or just posing for the paparazzi – one of the few things they do on a daily basis. We have to admit though, Kourtney looks great post-baby. She kept it casual in cropped cargo pants, a white tee, strappy wedges, sunglasses and her Jimmy Choo Marin zebra oversized clutch. Kim wore – well, what she always wears. A minidress and a cropped leather jacket. Some things change, some things always stay the same.

Does life imitate art? That’s the question we asked when we saw Gossip Girl couple Kelly Rutherford (Lily Bass) and Matthew Settle (Rufus Humphrey) not once, but twice, out together looking like quite the cozy pair. They were first spotted at the Pampers Dry Max launch party at Helen Mills Theater in New York City. Then they were seen hugged up at the alice + olivia launch party at Saks Fifth Avenue. Both times Kelly carried her BBFTM (bag best friend), the Hermès Kelly Bag on one arm, while keeping the other firmly planted on Matthew. New couple alert? It wouldn’t be the first time we’ve seen it from the Gossip Girl cast…

While Jessica Simpson is traveling the world filming her The Price of Beauty shows, lil sis Ashlee’s beauty treatments are making her virtually unrecognizable. She was spotted looking like the lost twin of Dita von Teese with a new black hairdo and red lipstick. Not sure if she changed the hair color for a new character (since she got booted from Melrose Place – no more need for the red hair). It’s different – slightly punk and rockerish – but we kinda like it. That and those black skinny jeans, white handkerchief tee and her black Balenciaga Arena Classic Pompon bag.

It seems that Adrienne Bailon is much more famous now than she was before, after having dated Kardashian sibling Rob, and aligning herself with the Kardashian clan. As a member of the Cheetah Girls we barely knew her name. Now she’s hosting parties everywhere and has become somewhat of a red carpet fixture. Seems like she picked up a few tips about making a name for yourself while not doing anything particularly important. We’re guessing she learned that from Kim. Anyways, she recently attended the ‘I Want Now’ fashion show benefiting Haiti at Tenjune in New York City. She was dressed to the nines (another tip from the Kardashians, surely) in a white dress and fur coat, Camilla Skovgaard’s Ankle Buckle High Heel Sandals (that Halle Berry also rocks) and an unidentified clutch she kept putting on display. Wonder who it’s by. (Bet it’s sold at Dash.)

We can always count on Miu Miu bags to be two things –stylish and simple. So we were shocked to see this uniquely hip and slightly trendy clutch tagged with a Miu Miu logo. The chic, striped Miu Miu Bird suede and python clutch is incredibly unexpected from the brand, yet irresistibly cute. It’s made of strips of pink suede with contrasting strips of black python in a fold over style with a scalloped edge flap closure. A pink and black python bird embellishment is the focal point of the bag, which opens to two interior compartments and has a tuckable braided rope shoulder strap. If you were growing bored with the usual slew of Miu Miu bags, this one is quite refreshing!

Are we still carrying Louis Vuitton Multicolore bags in 2010? Ice T’s wife Coco isn’t really the fashion icon we look to for style inspiration but being married to a celebrity, you’d think her bag game would be just a bit more current. She was spotted hugged up with Quentin Aaron (The Blindside) on the red carpet for Tyler Perry’s Why Did I Get Married Too? with her Louis Vuitton Monogram Multicolore purse in hand. We love our Louis Vuitton bags but since their collections consist mainly of different versions of the logo splattered on canvas or fabric, it’s very easy to spot last year’s bag. Or in this case, several years ago. It’s time to let it go Coco.

Mel B. is the latest victim of the half-shaved head syndrome. Why celebrities are adopting this new hairdo is beyond us, but at least the rest of her style remains intact. The Spice Girl singer and her hubby Stephen Belafonte hit the red carpet for the Sony Ericsson Open Kickoff party in Miami and she donned her crazy new hair, a white belted dress, tan suede heels and her tan snake-leather Fling Clutch. We’re willing to forgive Ciara’s Latoya Jackson-esque weave - only because we love her, her talent and her style. Usually. Cici was spotted leaving Los Angeles hotspot Katsu-Ya Restaurant last night with her BFF LaLa Vazquez. Singer Drake was also spotted leaving with them. While I blame Drake and LaLa for letting Cici leave the house with this weave that could stand to be quickly replaced, the rest of her look gets a thumbs up. Including her black Givenchy Medium Studded Nightingale bag. That, unlike the weave, can stay. Indefinitely.

Lauren Conrad may declare that her favorite designer is no one other than herself but she sure does have a thing for Marc Jacobs too. I remember one episode of The Hills where she met Jacobs’ and professed her love for him (in fact I believe she said he was her favorite designer). And the way she’s been toting around town her new BBFTM (bag best friendTM), the Marc by Marc Jacobs Dr Q Remy bag, you’d think she was the spokesmodel for his line. A few months back we spotted her with the Marc Jacobs bag at a Golden Globes style lounge. The, she recently attended the Shopbop.com
Spring Trends Dinner at Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles, California with the bag on her arm – again. To her credit, there aren’t any handbags in her LC Lauren Conrad for Kohl’s line. But if there were any, do we really believe they’d be her favorites?

Watch out world! The Kardashian sisters are back in Miami, likely to shoot their show. Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian were spotted arriving in Miami Beach, Florida, and heading to their ride dressed in chic, jetsetting looks of boyfriend jeans and big bags. Kourtney, who is in fab shape post-baby, toted a black Balenciaga Arena Classic Pompon while Khloe carried a brown Givenchy Wrinkled Nightingale. These could easily make some of the best travel bags for a girl to have.

New York City is full of ‘New York-based designers’. However, most of these designers’ bags are made somewhere else. So it was refreshing to happen upon Nyla Noor - a truly New York, made-by-hand, handbag line. Last night I attended the Nyla Noor press preview and chatted with the designers, sisters Saifra and Romaana Zia, about their stunning eco-friendly collection. These former investment bankers were sick of going to meetings with boring black nylon bags, and after getting laid off from their banking jobs, these two sisters traveled together and began to derive inspiration from their travels, specifically Barcelona. The launch collection contains 4 inspired shapes - a hobo, large satchel, messenger/foldover clutch, and mini clutch, all with their signature swerve pockets and custom made Swiss zippers (that don’t catch) and hardware.
In its first season, Nyla Noor is already making its mark with truly functional AND fashionable handbags. Many lines make those claims but this one is real. These stylish bags come in silhouettes that can be worn multiple ways, and feature multiple zip pockets and compartments. Each bag can easily transition from the boardroom to the bar. The standout piece is the Port Vell Satchel which the designers smartly measured to fit magazines and files. The Mercat Convertible Messenger (which converts into a foldover clutch) is another pièce de résistance, with its concealed pockets, multiple compartments and detachable chain strap. The Hobo Nouveau and El Borne Hipster also make chic city bags.
Also, the designers use only eco-friendly leathers which are specially tanned using all-natural colorants from sustainable materials and vegetable dyed in custom colors. And authentic Nyla Noor handbags are lined with SKAL Certified 100% organic cotton, grown without toxic herbicides or pesticides and dyed and printed with environmentally sound certified dyes.
