As much as we love clutch bags, chic as they are, sometimes they can be a bit impractical. But we expect it – clutches are small and cute and only meant to hold the basics for going out (keys, money, credit cards, lip gloss, and cell phone). But when we buy a hobo, our expectations are that it go beyond a clutch – and hold a lot. That said, we think the Foley + Corinna Cargo Bag
($495) is one of the poorest excuses for a hobo, or a handbag for that matter. This has to be one of the most ridiculous bags we’ve ever seen. First off, it’s more strap, less bag! How is it that the shoulder strap takes up more of the surface area than the actual bag? It has a 15″ strap drop yet the bag only measures 10″. The body is long (26″) but with the crescent shape you can’t really put stuff in the ends, so you’re left with the middle area and the exterior pockets. Maybe we have to see this bag in person to get a better grasp of it but online, it looks totally impractical and slightly insane. Too bad – we heart Foley + Corinna.
What do you think: haute or not?
nice,it’s really a beautiful bag!
Haute! Love the color and the unique shape 🙂
