My colleague, Melissa, recently mentioned that she discovered her dream bag. Unfortunately, it was the Hermès Birkin Bag, and the price and waiting list was less of a dream; more of a nightmare. So she asked Handbag du Jour to find some Hermes-style handbags for her, in a more affordable price range. Now we’re not proponents of ‘look-alike’ knockoffs but we found several well-styled designer bags that could give both the Hermes Birkin and the Hermes Kelly a run for their money. This range of leather bags that we collected feature a tote silhouette, with Hermes-style details like boxy shapes, roomy interiors, minimal hardware and superior construction.
