One to watch (and gift!) – West/Feren Hudson and Joplin bags

We’ve been watching West/Feren for a few months now. The solid bright clutches with the Aztec print flaps initially caught our eye and we’ve been watching the brand ever since. Designer Alison Pawling’s collection of bags is named after both of her grandmothers (Mildred West and Feren), who inspired her fashion sense. We’re currently loving the West/Feren Hudson and West/Feren Joplinbags. These satchels look equal parts smart and trendy in tan pebbled leather with muted gold metallic trim and elephant grey. The styling of the bags, mixed with the oversized flaps and gunmetal studs incorporates the designer’s military details, which is a common theme throughout her line. These bags look tough without looking too technical. They’re perfect from day to night, and work with any look – from a flirty dress to jeans and a blazer. And at around $500, they’re a lot of luxe for a (little) low price. The perfect holiday gifts!
