Own a piece of TV history with the one-of-a-kind Korto Momolu Tote

Korto Momolu Tote Although I am at heart a handbag and accessories addict, I do love my fashion too. So Project Runway is in my list of must-watch television shows (and no, I do not like that wannabe replacement, The Fashion Show). Anyway, the last Project Runway winner Leanne Marshall captured my heart with her final collection but my fave throughout the season was Liberian-born designer Korto Momolu. I loved her designs, her ‘story’, and her pleasant attitude and was sorely disappointed that she didn’t win. Anyway, that didn’t seem to stop her design shine and now she’s back with a much coveted accessory line. The Korto Momolu Tote is a stunning cowhide bag that has a patchy, distressed look with a burnout effect used to treat it. YSL caused a stir a few years back when it introduced the Mombasa bag with a genuine bullhorn handle which Momolu’s bag also uses. The front of the bag front features a double draped brass chain and the rich colors in the bag (deep navy blue, lilac and brown) represent the designer’s native African heritage. I love thie edgy, splashy yet refined look of this bag. If you want an exclusive piece of the designer’s accessory collection, get this bag which is on sale for a limited time only as part of the Jane Doe John Doe collection at ShopFlick!

Sale price: $600, (Regular price: $720)
