Even Pauric Sweeney Has Bad Days…
Although Pauric Sweeney remains a design ‘golden boy’ in my eyes, I couldn’t let this atrocity of a handbag pass. I know the 80’s have been making a strong comeback lately but that doesn’t mean we need to adopt ALL of the trends.
Neon, patchwork, colorblock, animal prints and exotics all in one bag should never have been done and should never be done again! The Pauric Sweeney Padded Patchwork Top Handle bag
is a mishmash of trends, styles prints and colors and hideously misses the mark, whatever mark that was supposed to be. The polyamide/nylon satchel comes in fuchsia or gray, with a variety of python, patent leather, and suede triangle shaped patches all over the bag. Alternately colored patent leather handles make up the top and the zip closure features a removable rubber shoulder strap. Ironically, this unluxurious bag is lined in suede! Turn it inside out – I bet it looks a lot better than the outside! Sorry Pauric Sweeney, I still love you but this bag has got to go!
