Amber Rose (and her Accessories) are the Highlight of Paris Fashion Week?

The most talked about thing at Paris Fashion Week is not the designers, or the trends, or even the celeb spottings. Instead, it is what Amber Rose is wearing! You ask who is Amber Rose? She’s a former alleged stripper model turned current trophy girlfriend of Kanye West. You may have seen her in the numerous photos of the two jetsetting around the world. Between her bald platinum blonde ‘do, bold fashion choices and Kanye’s personality, nothing and no one else could possibly steal the spotlight.

She doesn’t do much for me in the way of her clothing since spandex seems to be her signature. But I think her accessories are fierce! At the Stella McCartney show, Amber Rose wore a risky (or risque, depending on how you look at it) bustier and spandex tights outfit accessorized with a zebra print clutch and matching zebra print ankle tie shoes. I’m not a fan of matching your bag with your shoes - it’s so ’90’s, but it works for her. At the Hussein Chalayan, Givenchy and Sonia Rykiel shows, she sported more killer shoes. She rocked the Spring/Summer ‘09 Louis Vuitton Spicy Sandals in Patent Calf Leather. The sandal alone was a standout. Made of black patent calf leather, the sandal features beads, feathers, rivets and gold laces, gold-finish Louis Vuitton lace tips, a monogram canvas insock, two-tone platform and a leather sole. Whew! Rose coordinated with the Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2009 African Queen Masai Clutch in gold metallic.
